It's so crowded on the mountain today. It's the annual ski testing weekend, and the Alpine Racing World Cup is visiting. Last weekend was much better. We even got a day of powder skiing. Some days are great. Some are not so good. That's life.

The ski slopes are not a place you'll find me--I don't like being cold or getting hurt and I would undoubtedly get hurt if I tried to ski. It's fun to watch on TV though.

Fun to watch, and even more fun to do. It's like riding a bike; if you learn to ski as a kid, you never forget, and you can enjoy i for the rest of your life >:)
DeleteI went skiing once in college. My hosts accidentally put me on the wrong lift and I was on top of a mountain, looking at a black diamond and wondering how on earth I would make it down. Three hours later I'd fallen a million times, but when I reached the bunny slope, I almost thought I knew what I was doing. (But I never tried it again.) I do love snow and wish we'd get some soon.
