Yesterday I went downtown to buy some new shoes. When I passed by the bookstore, I felt this strong attraction which was impossible to resist.
I didn't want to buy any books, just take look in the shelves. 20 minutes later when I left the bookstore, I had bought a book by Paul Auster.
I met my best friend. We went for a cup of coffee, and I felt such a strong attraction again.
Then I walked back home, with my old shoes.

You gave your book to your friend?
ReplyDeleteNo, my friend doesn't read fiction in Winterlandic, yet
DeleteYou bought everything BUT the shoes you went after? lol
ReplyDeleteI only bought the book. No shoes. I don't like shopping >:)
DeleteI hate shopping, too. With the exception of books and writing stuff. I definitely understand your impulse. My VERY favorite place is a USED book store--cheap and with a sense of history. Man, I love that.
ReplyDeleteUsed book stores are cool. When we lived in the Denver area, my favorite place was Left Hand Books in Boulder. Not sure if it still exists
DeleteMade me smile. Nice. :)
ReplyDeleteHi. Good to see you around again.
DeleteI'm always happy if I can make people smile >:)
Thanks, nice to be around again. :)
