Völkl GS Racing
Little boy wrecked his giant slalom skis last week. Today he had to go to skiing practice on his twintip (freestyle) skis, in the beginning at least.
I went to the ski shop and bought him a brand new pair of Völkl GS Racing skis with Marker bindings. Excellent junior racing skis.
Guess who was happy, when I caught him by the lift and told him to change skis.
I get happy too, when I see a face like that >:)

Very impressive looking skis. No wonder Little Boy was happy! And what Dad could resist that look...??

Awe! That is so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice thing to do!
ReplyDeleteit's so great to be able to do something like that for our kids, isn't it? I wish mine didn't ASK for so much... much better to surprise them, than just give them what they are begging for.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. And how he felt. Been on both ends. (Not skis, mind you.)
ReplyDeleteJudy: Yes, it's cool skis, and very good racing skis for kids. Older boy had the same (but an older make) when he was 12-13 yo.
ReplyDeleteColene: He deserved it >:)
Alex: He's a nice boy >:)
Hart: Little boy is kind of quiet and modest. Some time ago, I asked him if he wanted new skis. He said the old ones were OK, even though they were 8 years old and inherited from his brother.
Helen: I've been on both ends too >:)
