The first year

Today is my one-year blog anniversary. No big celebration planned. I will be out skiing again this weekend.

It's been a fun first year. I looked back to re-read the first post I ever wrote. It wasn't much.

I was going to write something about January, but then I found my 2nd post. It's still valid; no need to rewrite it.

Enjoy the white gold. Powder to the people >:)

  1. Happy anniversary. I wish I could go skiing this weekend. I'll be doing something much more lame than that however. But hey, doing laundry can be fun.

  7. Funny first posts. Short and to the point. I love how you embrace where you live - the snow, the dark, the cold, the skiing, the family. Write on!

  8. Rusty: Doing laundry or house cleaning isn't to bad with some nice metal or a good audio book on the iPod (recently I've listened to The Sun Also Rises by Hemmingway, cool book, read it many years ago)

Sue: Thanks. I need to be better at telling which pictures I've taken myself and which I've borrowed on the Internet (all the skiing and outdoor pics are mine)

    Laura: Thanks.

Will: Thanks. I think everybody should experience the thrill of powder skiing from time to time >:)

Alex: Thanks. I think many of my posts are pretty lame when I reread them after some time. I sometimes do a cleanup, deleting the most embarrassing ones.

Mad Woman: Thanks. We didn't get as much powder as expected, maybe next weekend ... >:D

Mary Thanks, I will write on, for sure, probably short blog posts, as I try to spend more time on my so-called novel. Snow, cold, skiing, and not the least; the light summers of the north, is what I like, and where I want live. But I'll be happy to live in the warm south for shorter periods >:)
